Glenanaar Woods is used by the Munster Mountain Running Association for trail races.
Getting There: Glenanaar Woods, Ballyhoura (Parking is limited)
From Cork direction, on the N73 between Mallow and Mitchelstown, take the left turn immediately after the turn to Doneraile on the R522. The correct turn is signposted Ardpatrick. Glenanaar is on the left after 5km
From Limerick direction, head to Ardpatrick on the R512 from Kilmallock. From Ardpatrick, follow signs for the mountain bike trail centre. Continue past this (following signs for Canon Sheehan Loop) and Glenanaar is on the right after 6km

Twelve O'Clock Hills / Knockanuarha
Location...This hill is located roughly halfway between Sixmilebridge and Broadford in the South-East of Co.Clare...
Directions from Sixmilebridge...When you enter Sixmilebridge from the Limerick side, proceed through the crossroads in the centre of the village and then take the next right at a fork in the road. This road is signposted for Broadford. (Note the more detailed map further down)
After 3.85 miles / 6.2 kms on this road, you pass Torpey Hurleys...
At 4.7 miles / 7.6 kms, you reach the turn off right for Sunyata Retreat Centre. If you are coming from the Broadford direction then this point is 3.7 miles / 6 kms from the junction near Broadford.
The approach road is very narrow and will only handle one way traffic. Follow any instructions on the day.

Ballyhoura Mtns...
The Ballyhoura Mountains on the Cork/Limerick border are used by the IMRA (Irish Mountain Running Association) for various races every year. Located between the cities of Cork and Limerick, the area is easy to access.
Most IMRA races in the area start at the Mountain Bike Centre which is on the Limerick side of the Ballyhouras.
Directions....The Mountain Bike Centre is located just off the R512 road from Kilmallock to Kildorrery / Fermoy. The map below shows the location relative to the nearest towns.
In more detail....The Mountain Bike Centre is just a few kms to the south of the village of Ardpatrick on the R512.
About 2.4 kms to the south of Ardpatrick on the R512, you will come to the turn off for the Mountain Bike Centre...
The brown sign post above says 'Ballyhoura Woods'. From this junction, the Mountain Bike Centre is only 1 km up this narrow road.
Parking.....Please note that there is a small fee for parking at the Mountain Bike Centre. The roads outside are narrow and not suitable for parking.

Corrin Hill is a woods used for trail runs and orienteering events near Fermoy in the NE of Cork.
Directions...
From Cork City.....Take the M8 motorway as far north as Watergrasshill. Leave the M8 here (Exit 17) to avoid the toll and drive through the village and take the old Dublin road, now the R639. (See map below...left). Drive through Rathcormack and proceed towards Fermoy. (See map below...right)...Just over 2 kms to the north of Rathcormack, you drive through the roundabout by Cork Marts. One km after this, you take the next left which is signposted for Fermoy Golf Club.
The entrance to Corrin Hill woods is 1.1 kms up this road.
