Knockaroura Wood, Mallow, Co.Cork...

Knockaroura is a woods used for trail runs and orienteering near Mallow in the N.Cork. It is probably best described as the woods on the hill to the south-east of Mallow.

For Irish Mountain Running Association events...Note that there is very little parking available at the start / finish area. The Wild Geese Bar which is located about 1 mile away is used for registrations and refreshments. The course is a mixture of narrow country roads and forest trails.

Directions...
From Cork.....heading towards Mallow, take the left turn for Dromahane approx 2 kms before Mallow roundabout. Bar is 300m on right.

From Limerick.........Go straight through Mallow roundabout and once through the 60kmh zone and over bridge , cross road to take 1st right for Dromahane. Bar is 300m on right.

Corrin Hill, Fermoy, Co.Cork...

Corrin Hill is a woods used for trail runs and orienteering events near Fermoy in the NE of Cork.

Directions...
From Cork City.....Take the M8 motorway as far north as Watergrasshill. Leave the M8 here (Exit 17) to avoid the toll and drive through the village and take the old Dublin road, now the R639. (See map below...left). Drive through Rathcormack and proceed towards Fermoy. (See map below...right)...Just over 2 kms to the north of Rathcormack, you drive through the roundabout by Cork Marts. One km after this, you take the next left which is signposted for Fermoy Golf Club.

The entrance to Corrin Hill woods is 1.1 kms up this road.

Turn off for Fermoy Golf Club and Corrin Hill
