The woods near Bweeng are used by the Munster Mountain Running Association for some of their events.

Location.....Bweeng is located a few miles west of the Cork-Mallow road. There are several ways to get there......from Dromahane......from Donoughmore.....from Grenagh.

Directions.......

From Rathduff on the N20 Cork-Mallow road, turn off for Grenagh.

 From Grenagh, take the road west from the old church in the village. This is signposted for Donoughmore. Just stay on this road and you'll end up in Bweeng. Note that race HQ is at the Community Centre in the village.

To get to the woods from Bweeng........This is the map of the juntion at Bweeng. After passing the old church, you come to a t-junction with the R619 Dououghmore-Dromahane road. Just take a left and then a right after about 50m. The road towards the woods is signposted for Gortroe.
