Location... Rathcormac is located just off the M8 motorway and is easily accessed from Fermoy or Watergrasshill.
Course... The 4 mile course is basically one loop to the east of the village of Rathcormac.
Course description....... The 4 mile course is roughly 50 metres above sea level and the maximum change is no more than +/- 8 metres. As courses go, it's reasonably flat.
The race starts to the west of Rathcormac on a quiet country road. Note that the race also finishes here.
At about 0.2 miles, you come to start of the loop where you stay left...
This is the view around the 1-mile mark...nice and flat.
At about 1.6 miles, you come to a crossroads where you turn right...

This is a nice quiet section on a quiet road on the edge of Castlelyons...
At bout the 2.1 mile mark, you come to a T-junction where you turn right for home...
The return journey is pretty much the same as it is on a quiet country road. At about 3.8 miles, you close the loop and run back to the finish line which is where the race started.
Overall...... Reasonably fast 4 mile course on quiet country roads. Very easy access.
