Location...The run is on the walkway beside the Carrigaline to Crosshaven road. The start is approximately 8 miles from Cork City.
Directions....As you approach Carrigaline, follow all signs for Crosshaven which will take you onto a relief road which runs to the east of the town. As you leave Carrigaline on the Crosshaven road, you will pass the GAA grounds. About 500m beyond this point, you will come to the entrance to an industrial estate on the right and the walkway car park is about 200m beyond this on the left. See below...

Event...Entries are taken at the car park for the walkway.
The course for both the 5 km and 10 km courses are out and back on the walkway. The start and finish point is in the car park.
The 2.5 km turnaround point for the 5k is on the walkway while the 5 km turnaround point for the 10k is on the outskirts of Crosshaven.
Course description...Both the 5 km and 10 km courses are dead flat. As can be seen from the photo below, the Owenabue Estuary is on the left and the main road to Crosshaven is on the right...

Overall......Both courses are dead flat and are very fast. Nice scenic run especially if the weather is nice.
