Directions....From Ballydehob on the N71 road between Skibbereen and Bantry, take the road for Scull and Mizen Head. Goleen is 23 kms or 14 miles from Ballydehob.
Race HQ......The local community centre is where people register for the race. This is located just on the northern side of the village. The main thing to remember is to turn off right before you go into Goleen itself.
As you approch from the direction of Schull, you will pass the start line for the race with a small grotto on the left.
About 100m after this, you turn off right.....note the brown signpost for the Community Centre.
About 300m up this narrow road, take a right at the fork...
Goleen Community Centre is located about 100m up this road...
It's about 550 from the Community Centre back to the start line of the race.
